For the testing of the Silverstone Raven 02 case we will be running 2 separate tests and will be recording the temperatures at two different fan speeds. The first set of tests has the 3 x 180mm intake fans set to the low speed setting of 700rpm while the second set will run at the high fan speed of 1000rpm
Everest Stress Test:: Stressing all components available for 1 hour per test
Fur Mark:: 1280×1024 @ 8AA for one hour per test
We will run these tests twice, once with the stock settings for the AMD Phenom II X3 720 ARE and then with an overclock of 200 MHz by increasing our CPU multiplier in the system BIOS from 14X to 15X. This increase will take our CPU to the 3.01 GHz mark. Under different circumstances we would push the CPU overclock much more; however for today’s testing we only have a stock cooler on hand. All other settings will be kept at stock values for both tests. The 2 HD5850’s are being run with 30% fan speed set in the CCC.
